“This will be the most consequential election in 150 years.” Thank you, @ClyburnSC06 for joining my discussion with local labor leaders today to remind us what’s at stake this November and how much work remains to be done for the working men and women of #MN02. https://t.co/khIkPW3680
Today marks the 54th anniversary of Medicare in America, an essential program that promises to deliver high-quality, affordable health care to those who need it most. But more than fifty years later, that promise is under constant attack.
In Minnesota, we keep our word — so you know that, in Congress, I’m fighting every day to fulfill that promise by protecting and expanding health care coverage for older Americans.
Thank you to Eagan Kick-Start Rotary and Eagan Chief of Police Roger New inviting me to join you this week. Your leadership and commitment to our community is inspiring, and I look forward to our continued work together. https://t.co/PtzsDEJ5yV

I'm happy to be celebrating #NationalDairyMonth with @TinaSmithMN and Steven & Jodie, who started Shepherd’s Way Farm 25 years ago with just a small flock of sheep. Now it’s one of the country's largest dairy sheep farms, making some great cheese! https://t.co/2JoNuazwAx

My office recently helped Alex from Farmington receive nearly $94,000 in disability back-payments from Social Security after waiting over 5 years for his benefits. https://t.co/qFX0Gqz98q
Today, the Supreme Court reaffirmed what we already knew: employment discrimination against the LGBTQ community is wrong and unconstitutional. This decision is a major victory in our fight for equality, but we still have so much work to do. https://t.co/exLBGBaTcH

Today, I was proud to vote to help small businesses in #MN02 get the flexibility they need from the Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loans. This bipartisan legislation is overdue and I hope it will be enacted swiftly. https://t.co/SScy3tQRr9

Tonight, Eagan & West St. Paul will be under a curfew from 10 PM until 4 AM. It is important that we follow the curfew to allow law enforcement to target those intending to harm our communities and protect our peaceful demonstrators.

I’m heartbroken that the State Fair is canceled this year — but I appreciate that organizers had the courage to put Minnsotan’s health before anything else. I can’t wait to get together with Minnesotans across our state in 2021! https://t.co/ToP6yn0z1T

Today, I joined the Minnesota delegation for a briefing with @MNhospitals. Proud of all the hard work our front-line health care workers do to keep our hospitals safe and running smoothly.
Nothing like a cheeseburger and some tots from King’s Place on a Sunday afternoon! https://t.co/MouIGnpC4b
Restaurant owners and small businesses get the necessary flexibility to the PPP that extends the window for loan money to be spent and forgiven, eliminates burdensome regulations around how the money can be spent and extends the amount of time businesses have to pay back loans.
There are critical direct payments in it for our counties, cities and towns in #MN02, and this has bi-partisan support in this district. Our communities have stepped up to continue and increase their services for our communities, and we’ve got to do the work to support them.
Here’s why I support it: It includes my bipartisan bill, allowing all families who claim dependents to finally get the economic relief payments that they deserve. The CARES Act needlessly left out millions of struggling families with older children and disabled dependents.
It also stands with our family farmers by supporting biofuels, increasing farm stress program support and provides direct payments to farmers impacted by COVID-19 and funding for animal disease prevention.
I’m going to continue to encourage Democrats and Republicans to put politics aside and stay focused on helping our first responders, our local communities and the Main Street businesses that need help the most from a strong federal response.
We’ve got work to do to get to a package supported by the Senate and get to a bill that will be signed into law. There are things I would have preferred we leave out of this bill but there is also a lot of good in it for this community.
Good Afternoon #MN02. Today, I will be voting for the Heroes Act. I’ve talked with small businesses, mayors and county commissioners, police chiefs and nonprofits, and while this bill isn’t perfect, we can't wait to address urgent needs of our communities. https://t.co/GhXBlsiakU
I’m proud to be joined by 46 local elected officials across #MN02 in my push for direct investments into local communities as they face unprecedented challenges from COVID-19. We’ve got to include cities and towns in the next legislative package. https://t.co/cuwEmXurwM
