Happy first day of Spring, NJ-11! Nutley, NJ https://t.co/YskNcu516f
The wage gap hurts women in all professions. If we want to help families, rebuild our economy, and make NJ a more affordable place to live, we must make equal pay a right.
On this year’s Equal Pay Day, I’m celebrating the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team’s win in their equal pay lawsuit. As a mother of two young female soccer players, I know that so many young women look up to the USWNT as role models in the fight for equality. https://t.co/wdk0053LZW
Thank you to everyone standing united with the Ukrainian people in support of democracy and against Purim’s unjustified war.
The ARP helped students of all ages. 56 K-12 school districts in NJ-11 received over $85 million to get students and teachers back into the classroom. Colleges and Universities in my district received over $166 million, including funding for students to lower tuition & loan costs https://t.co/1pzT91NZf0
On International Women Women’s Day, I’m honoring Alice Parker. Born in Morristown, Alice earned a certificate from Howard University in 1910 and went on to create the first patented heating furnace. Her innovations inspire young women to pursue careers in STEM today! https://t.co/FmrK0KiHnT
Ahead of International Women’s Day, I recognized the Honorable Barbara Curran on the House floor. Barbara was the first woman to serve in all 3 branches of NJ government. I am grateful for the role model she was to me & to so many who saw a path forward in politics through her. https://t.co/GaGnmCh1V4
Dr. Robert Hariri started @Celularity in his garage right here in NJ-11 almost 30 years ago. Today, this cutting edge cell therapy company is growing the stem cells needed to address our most pressing illnesses, from COVID to cancer. https://t.co/PIXx9flZzo
I joined BioNJ President Debbie Hart, Morris Chamber President Meghan Hunscher and Florham Park Mayor Mark Taylor to learn more about their work from Dr. Hariri and tour the Florham Park HQ last week. https://t.co/c0bTUaTnMs
I am proud to have Celularity doing this incredible work in NJ-11 and to work with these partners to continue to support and build the innovation economy in life sciences that has such a long history in NJ.
Just ended a virtual meeting with Ukranian President Zelenskyy. We discussed additional ways that the US & international community can continue to help our Ukrainian allies. We must stand firmly in support & I urge the US to continue to do everything we can. #StandWithUkraine https://t.co/zVobM7d8Nt
However, the Department of Transportation is still constrained by last year’s funding bill and so can’t immediately implement some critical programs in the infrastructure law, which is why it’s so important that we finish the appropriations process as rapidly as possible now.
I was excited this week to join @RepMoulton and @RepKatko in sending a letter to Congressional leadership urging them to quickly complete the FY 2022 appropriations bill so that the Department of Transportation can fully implement the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

It was wonderful to be in Dover this week with @MorrisCountyNJ Officials, the @MorrisChamberNJ, Mayor Blackman and other local officials for the launch of the Morris County Small Program that is using ARP funds. https://t.co/gjeNeTwYx9
