Happy Birthday Cleveland ! Our great city is celebrating its 225th birthday today. #Ohio https://t.co/fN3FKPw2p0
When I text you “️” I’m reminding you that the House passed the #RespectForMarriageAct” US Senate—the ball is now in your court! #EqualMarriage
“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” This morning’s visit by First Lady Zelenska was a sobering and empowering reminder of why we must stand with Ukraine in the fight for freedom. https://t.co/rBaUahiATo
Let's hope the Senate keeps this trend going by passing this law that will help to alleviate fuel costs for Americans further.
I am relieved to see declining gas prices across the country. Per the American Automobile Association (@ their social account), gas prices have dropped to as low as $4.376 - and personally, I’ve seen less back at home! This is why I voted for the Lower Food and Fuel Costs Act.
Far-right extremists continue to wage an all-out war to control women’s reproductive rights. But, we will continue to put People over Politics and ensure birth control access for all. https://t.co/G1SvLDTJP5
Democrats have been hard at work fighting for the American people. Last week we passed bills that would: ✅Protect women's reproductive rights ✅Strengthen support for our military service-members ✅Reduce the price of infant formula
Mental health care is health care. That is why I will always advocate for legislation and funding to help support programs and services that can help save lives. #MentalHealthMatters
Last week the @NRDems held a hearing on my bill to recognize the Kol Israel Foundation Holocaust Memorial—located in Bedford Heights, Ohio— as a national memorial. We must always stand against antisemitism by educating future generations about this dark chapter in history. https://t.co/hZRgyuWmT5
This week I will join my @HouseDemocrats colleagues to vote in favor of H.R. 8297 Ensuring Access to Abortion Act. This bill would stop anyone acting under state law from interfering with a person's ability to access out-of-state reproductive health care services.
It’s a special day for Team Brown! Please join me in wishing my father a very happy birthday! Without him there’s no me. Happy birthday, Dad! https://t.co/D0W20d0TtY
I am angry and heartbroken and praying with the families, and community of Highland Park. This shooting is another painful reminder of why Congress must do more to end this reoccurring nightmare of gun violence.
As we gather with family & friends this #IndependenceDay, let’s reflecton how far we've come as a nation. Though we have progressed, we still have a lot of work to do in our quest to fulfill America’s original promise of liberty and justice for ALL. Happy Independence Day

Last night, the Cleveland Metropolitan School District Board of Education approved renaming Patrick Henry School after the late U.S. Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones (OH-11), who proudly served in Congress from 1998 until her passing in 2008. https://t.co/kUDLZHBSRI

I dream of waking up in an America without gun violence ever stealing another innocent life. I will fight every day in Congress to make that dream a reality. This is a dark day in American history. The @SCOTUS decision overturning Roe v. Wade is a direct attack on a woman's fundamental right to make decisions about her body and her health. This is a clear attempt to unwind the clock on human rights progress. My heart is heavy.
