As I announced at @HouseCommerce #subhealth hearing on #Cures, today we are publishing a Surrogate Endpoint Table; a list of surrogate endpoints which were the basis of approval under accelerated and traditional pathways https://t.co/SXtj1up8Af

#FDA released some top line findings from a new analysis we developed that shows that second-to-market drugs in specialty drug categories are coming to market much slower now than in the past; limiting competition and perhaps contributing to high prices https://t.co/OqBZ3g8IKF

This is a common ingredient that’s likely used in other products. But not all products that used the potentially contaminated whey will need to be recalled. Some products may have processing steps or “kill steps” (like heating to certain temps) that could eliminate the risk.

AMPI has several distributors and we’re working to identify the firms they supply to in an effort to determine if any received potentially contaminated product and what, if any, food may be contaminated with Salmonella. There could be additional recalls based on what we find.
