Moses White was a veteran, successful businessman, civil rights hero, former professional football player, recording artist, and a very dear friend of mine. Since our days together as students at Florida A&M University, he remained a powerful and constant influence in my life.

His desire to be bold, to take a stand, and to fight for what he believed in had a profound impact on our community. He will be dearly missed, and I truly thank God for sending him our way.
