Bill Summary
Mutual Bank Conversion Act - Amends the Federal Deposit Insurance Act to mandate that conversions by insured State banks from mutual form to stock form be implemented according to Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation regulations. Requires such regulations to be substantially similar to those prescribed by the Director of the Office of Thrift Supervision.
