Mineral King Act of 1996 - Amends the National Parks and Recreation Act of 1978 to authorize the Secretary of the Interior, until the date of the death of the last cabin permittee of record as of the date of this Act's enactment, to renew or extend certain historic cabin permits or leases in the Mineral King addition to the Sequoia National Park to the heirs of lessees or permittees, unless: (1) the permit is incompatible with the protection...
