Employee Health Insurance Accountability Act of 1997 - Amends the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) to provide that ERISA State preemption rules shall not preempt any cause of action under State law to recover damages for medical malpractice, personal injury, or wrongful death against any entity that provides insurance or administrative services to or for an employee health plan.
