Bill Summary

Energy Contracting Opportunities Act This bill expands, from 10 to 30 years, the maximum length of a federal agency contract for the acquisition of renewable energy or energy from cogeneration facilities. In addition, the Department of Energy and the Department of the Interior must establish an interagency working group to study the impact thatenergy development hashad on bird populations.
