Appropriations -- worked with Congress to ensure submission of a request to continue funding for textile enforcement at the Department of Homeland Security in the FY2009 appropriations process and to provide funding for an expanded import monitoring program at the Department of Commerce. Working with Congress and the Administration to evaluate options to address the end of safeguards on Chinese textile and apparel products at the end of 2008.
