Issue(s) they said they’d lobby about: Lincoln County has an affordable housing shortage that needs to be addressed at the federal level through legislation like AHCIA. Because of recent wildfires and an assessed increased wildfire risk, homes and businesses in the County are unable to purchase insurance or when coverage is available, it is too expensive. Lincoln County needs federal assistance to take measures to increase fire readiness and measures to reduce fire risk. Additionally, Lincoln County needs help to buildout high speed internet throughout their rural county..
