Nov 30, 2011 Letter to constituent
"The Protect IP Act was introduced in the Senate by Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont, and is currently awaiting action in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Although no similar legislation has been introduced in the House, I'll be sure to keep your views in mind if it is introduced in the future. Every Montanan has the right to unfettered access to the Internet, which is why I have some concerns regarding overregulation. New regulations would stifle the future of the Internet, resulting in greater government controls, increased bureaucracy, and less choices for consumers. "
