Project Description

COMMANDER'S SMALL SCALE PROJECTS

Project Goals

Funds will be used to resource immediate impact humanitarian and reconstruction projects directly supporting the citizens and Government of Afghanistan. Projects will include condolence payments of no more than $2500.00 and small impact projects of no more than $5000.00. Funds may also be used to make battle damage and hero payments as may be required in the event that operations cause damage to civilian property or loss of civilian life. Comments: Requested CERP funds will allow the team to have the ability to provide an immediate impact in the Area of Operation. Project updates to include specific

projects funded will be uploaded into this report prior to project closure. These CERP funds will be primarily directed towards assisting SOTF-SOUTH in detainee release payments and other small-scale humanitarian projects on a case-by-case basis.

Results

Funds were readily available for projects up to $5000.00 which provided the team with the ability to assist villages with humanitarian and reconstruction needs immediately. Funds were also used to make battle damage and condolence payments as required in the event that operations cause damage to civilian property or loss of civilian life.

Provide Model Farming Training to the Farmers in Maruf

Provide training to Afghan Doctors in the community health clinic.
