Health
Federal health inspectors from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention inspect cruise ships twice a year, checking everything from kitchen equipment to dishwasher temperatures, and grade ships based on what they find. A score below 86 is considered failing. Cruise ships are also required to report all illness outbreaks affecting more than 3% of passengers or crew to the CDC. Inspections and outbreaks from 2010 to the present are shown below.

Recreational Water Facilities-Swimming Pool Drain Covers
The three swimming pools had 4 individual square-shaped compliant drain covers fastened together to cover each large circular drains on the bottom of the pools. The pool had a fountain feature that created a significant amount of bubbling and turbulence in the pool. The records indicated that the free halogen residual for this pool was consistently around 4 ppm.
