Localized measurement and mapping of tissue nonlinear elasticity
This study focuses on a novel, ultrasound-based diagnostic modality that noninvasively extracts enriched information about tissue stiffness. This is made possible by the newly discovered formula for the force of ultrasound in soft tissues and can be used to measure a new property of tissue that has not been explored before. To determine its effectiveness, this method will be tested on phantoms and tissue samples.
