Abbott / SJM
The activity is one of the three national fellows courses given to the 2018-2019 pain medicine fellows nationally. These courses are a 2 day event that combines didactic sessions and cadaveric lab sessions teaching the basic principles of neuromodulation. These include devices and therapies made by Abbott as well as other companies. My slides during didactic sessions will be my own creation, unedited. I will have the opportunity to speak freely during discussion and lab sessions without bias and express what I feel are best practices within the field. I will be one of 8-10 invited physician leaders at each of these courses.
The activity will take place at National Skills BioLab in Dallas, TX. I have no clinical or academic obligation during this scheduled time off (weekend).
