Alzheimer's Disease Cooperative Study
This is a CDA to review the protocol of a new medication being tried for Alzheimer's disease. The NIH-funded ADCS wants me to serve on an oversight steering committee-- a group who for purposes of this trial will be without conflict and at arms length from the ADCS. The committee will follow the trial's progress, receive recommendations from the DSMB, and be responsible for the final decision as needed to stop the trial for futility, safety etc.
This is just to review the protocol to decide if I want to take part in its oversight.
