Additional Comments

I registered these two business entities with the state last spring, March at the earliest. The business is at present "on hold" and may never be fully active. I developed a framework website but have not developed it further. I have interest in the concept, but no time to spare "because" of my job at UT. It is not an active concern, per se. The website has static information. It draws no money, and few comments. It is not geared to hit servers and draw viewers, etc. I consider the website a draft, but did not try to protect it from being "live." I continue to hold the option of developing the website. If I were to become more active on the website, then it might appear to create a conflict of interest. However the reason I "don't" develop this site is because I don't have time to do this in addition to my full-time work and UT and have a normal life by my own standards. The website would promote the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Austin; my work at the IC2 Institute is similar in focus, and is what gave me the passion for the concept. I continue to hold the option of developing the website. If I were to become more active on the website, then it might appear to create a conflict of commitment. However the reason I "don't" develop this site is because I don't have time to do this in addition to my full-time work and UT and have a normal life by my own standards. It is a non-issue since I haven't put any work into the site since I established the present draft site, with static content.

Notes: When a more specific filing date is not available for an individual financial disclosure or conflict of interest form, we use the year the form was filed. If the year was not disclosed, we report the range of years covered by our public records requests. In a few cases, a start date was provided instead of a filing date. In those cases, we use the start date instead.

Fewer than 10% of records from the University of Florida and fewer than 1% of records from the University of Texas system were removed because they did not contain enough information.

ProPublica obtained additional financial disclosures and conflict of interest forms that we have not yet digitized and added to the database. You can download those disclosures in the ProPublica Data Store.
