Educational Testing Service
I grade AP music theory exams.
This work does not interfere with fall/spring or my summer online/hybrid teaching schedule. As a reader for the AP music theory exams, I get the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with a national network of high school/college teachers, faculty, and AP development committee members, as well as gain valuable professional development hours. Because my research interests include automated assessment and evaluation, being involved as an AP reader enables me to study the rubrics and evaluative techniques of a national exam.
