Did you see the photos from Paul Ryan's event with casino billionaire and GOP super PAC king Sheldon Adelson yesterday?

No, you didn't. That's because there were no photos, no recordings, no press, nothing -- in other words, no record of promises made. The only way we'll know how the meeting went is to see how many millions more Adelson gives in the coming weeks.

Turns out this isn't new for Paul Ryan. According to The New York Times yesterday: "Mr. Ryan is one of a very few elected officials who have attended the Kochs' biannual conferences, where wealthy donors sit in on seminars..."

Yes, those are the same oil-billionaire Koch brothers you've heard about -- and those seminars are about everything from why oil companies don't need to be regulated to why climate change isn't happening.

Ryan dutifully takes those conclusions to the House of Representatives, and according to the Times, the Koch Industries' PAC has responded with more than $X to his political operation.

Unfortunately, too much of Washington works this way.

And Mitt Romney made a very deliberate vice presidential pick: A guy who's one of the best at taking advantage of the worst parts of our system.

If that pisses you off, it should. Do something about it:

P.S. -- Asked by Fortune Magazine, "If you were to start a business today, what would it be?" Mitt Romney touted the oil and gas industry. It's like they're not even trying to hide whose side they're on, or why. Please make a donation to keep these guys out of the White House:
