Issue:

Veteran A received his notification letter, and along with his notification letter he received a Vetsnet Compensation and Pension (C&P) award belonging Veteran B. The Vetsnet C&P award contained Veteran B's first and last name, SSN, DOB, gender, branch of service, EOD, RAD, Character of Discharge, home address, bank account number, routing number, type of bank account, and monthly amount. In addition, it contained Veteran Bs spouses information to include, her first and last name, DOB, and her SSN. Veteran A returned the document to the Regional Officer (RO).

Outcome:

02/19/15: The Incident Resolution Service Team has determined that Veteran B and the spouse will be sent a letter offering credit protection services.
