Issue:
Veteran A called to report a Privacy Violation. The Public Contact Team issued his ex-spouse a letter with his name, address, SSN, monthly disability amount, disability percentage. The ex-spouse had to provide the letter to the Veteran during a court hearing for child support. Veteran A returned a copy of the letter to our Office.
Outcome:
04/09/15: The Incident Resolution Service Team has determined that Veteran A will be sent a letter offering credit protection services.
