Issue:
On July 31, 2013, the VA received a 21-4138, requesting a complete copy of his personal VA claims folder, from Veteran A. This was copied and mailed to him on August 7, 2013. He wrote a letter and informed us that with his records were copies of service treatment records and a military discharge document belonging to Veteran B. Veteran A returned the misdirected records to the VA. These copies will be mailed to Veteran B with possible credit letter.
Outcome:
09/03/13: Veteran B will be sent a letter offering credit protection services.
