Sadly, VA is moving ahead with its plan to deploy this broken system at 19 additional VA sites by 2024, but there should not be any more "go lives" or additional funding until every single issue with the system is fixed.
VA is wasting billions of dollars on Cerner's dysfunctional electronic health records system, it has been nothing but problematic since the Day 1. Recurring outages can last hours and require staff to resort to pen and paper documentation.
