I’m in WARSAW at YUMMY’S. It’s getting cold, but I can always eat a little homemade WAKEUP WARSAW ice cream. And thank you to these young women who shared their thoughts about their town. HANG IN THEIR LADIES! GOOD THINGS AGEAD. https://t.co/6qbCOJjBIQ

@BernieSanders is my guy. But I have to give respect to my other guy, @CoryBooker. In my congressional district 48% of children are living in poverty! It is the biggest issue in my community with 98% being people of color! #childpoverty #demdebate
The United States should withdraw troops from Syria. Foreign policy decisions should not be made by tweet. And there must be a plan to replace troops with a humanitarian and diplomatic surge that works to build a sustainable peace and bring accountability for war crimes in Syria.
Let’s not forget, the Syrian conflict has led to the deaths of over half a million people, and has its roots in a misguided policy that spans multiple administrations.
Congress also needs to investigate whether Trump has demanded any favors from Turkish President Erdogan in exchange for withdrawing U.S. troops from the Turkish-Syria border. His actions have created chaos & betrayal of the Kurds who have been such important allies for the U.S.

We’ve had troops in Japan, Korea, and Japan for 70 years. That has helped ensure peace in places ravaged by war. There’s a difference between our missteps in the Middle East (“forever wars”) and the thoughtful defense of liberty.

Donald Trump sold out the Kurds and gave 10,000 ISIS fighters a get-out-of-jail-free card. There are only four winners: Russia, Iran, Assad, and ISIS. This madness has to stop. #DemDebate
