Yes a lot of terrible things have happened in the name of religion by power hungry people, but going out of your way to mock people’s faith because it doesn’t make sense to you is unwarranted.

I think faith is a deeply private matter, once you impose it on others it loses its value. Personally, it’s given me a lot of solace. So if someone is struggling and asks I’m happy to share. But faith is a personal, non-transferable experience. That’s why it’s not science.

We’re all trying to make sense of life, most of us rely on 5 senses to navigate through it. Some of us have experienced an inner sense, as compelling as the other 5. That’s called faith.

We can either question all of our senses, or accept that for practical purposes our senses don’t deceive us most of the time. We just gotta keep on keeping on.

There’s a lot in the world outside us and within us to peak our intellectual curiosity, denigrating someone else’s personal beliefs doesn’t have to be one of them if they’re harmless.
