@beorach @RepDonBacon He did. At the same time, he originally very publicly backed giving teachers guns. To your point, he’s backed down from this. However, I haven’t seen the same focus or energy, on this issue, when it comes to other solutions that don’t include giving guns to teachers.

@beorach @RepDonBacon If someone’s first thought in solving the issue of gun violence in this country is advocating for more guns in places like schools, when other solutions are available, that’s problematic. It shows a lack of understanding of the issue at hand.
