My opponent doesn’t believe our president now is duly elected. And that is a scary thought, because democracy sits on the shoulders of the next secretary of state. And I know I’m being dramatic about it, but it’s a serious issue, and we need a neutral official here.

People are tired of being angry. People want leaders who are pragmatic, who can listen and come up with a strategy to be inclusive. As secretary of state, it's my job to be nonpartisan and to be neutral and to have the interest of all of Nevadans at heart while making decisions.
