@StateDept @SecBlinken EU, East Asia, and Oceania are home to some of our closest and most important allies. I hope we can strengthen relationships with our allies, and build new relationships, as we continue to tackle the struggles of the 21st century togeather.

@repmarkpocan @POTUS NATO's 2% GDP agreement begins in 2024. The whole point of that thing was to make it so the United States didn't need to be the only one funding the alliance's military. Time to start cutting back to prepare Europe for the realities of a post-2024 world.

RT @BarackObama: When injustice runs deep, progress takes time. But if we can turn words into action and action into meaningful reform, we will, in the words of James Baldwin, “cease fleeing from reality and begin to change it.”

RT @BernieSanders: On issue after issue, Republicans are seeing that the American people overwhelmingly support a progressive agenda. As it turns out, an agenda of enormous tax breaks for billionaires, and billions in welfare for enormous corporations isn't all that popular

Know how allegedly the US quietly supports Israel with nuclear missiles, going so far as to say Israel either owns or controls some US missiles? We should quietly withdraw that alleged support if we want to apply pressure to Israel to stop genociding Palestinians.

@denverpost People who are struggling should not be punished for struggling. So this is a good thing. But we need to also be working on the sources of homelessness so that situations like this are not necessary.

@RepJayapal He said 100% of his focus was blocking Obama's agenda, and we didn't listen. We then got Trump. Lets not repeat the mistakes of the past.

I don't want to hear anymore garbage about the "free market" sorting out wages. If that were the case, then businesses would be paying more, instead of complaining about how no one wants to work for 10 dollars an hour.

107 year ago today, the @CONationalGuard opened fire on striking miners and their families in Ludlow, Colorado under orders of Colorado Fuel and Iron Company killing 21 men, women, and children. That is what we mean when we say people died for our labor rights. #rememberludlow

@Reuters The Paris Accords have a goal of stopping warming to 2 by 2100, with a lofty ambition of 1.5. Scientists have said Paris does not go far enough to meet those goals.
