@JacobRAdkins @kylegriffin1 "Another" progressive? Pelosi is not even remotely progressive except on culture.

@SpeakerPelosi Anyone that truly believes that she led a relentless campaign to extend the moratorium deserves every single lie told to them by government officials in both parties.

If your President is greenlighting the highest permit approvals for drilling for oil and gas, that means he didn't mean anything he said about green jobs. The Democratic Party is not serious about climate change. https://t.co/lHfODS6r76 QT @AlexCKaufman: )

@TeamPelosi https://t.co/aDMjQjJGbk QT @ProudSocialist: The problem with the Democrats is they co-opt the language of the left when they’re campaigning for votes, but then… https://t.co/mozuktAAcI)

@abetterworld98 In my case, I'm running on issues that some progressive Democrats would theoretically vote for (if they ever came to a vote), but from the Republican Party. There are a variety of reasons for this, but a big one is to make it clear that there's a difference between me and them.

Republicans, of course, have their own tactics for weaponizing accusations against their critics, so this is not something that is unique to just one side of the aisle.

RT @DanPriceSeattle: Average benefit from capital gains tax break each year Low-income people: $0 Middle-income: $80 Richest 1%: $115,000 Richest 0.1%: $825,000 Close just this one tax loophole and we'd have enough money to permanently wipe out student debt in 5 years https:

Thank God Mike Bloomberg's candidacy came to a quick and embarrassing end. I don't want the owner of this outlet pushing policies that support opinions like this. https://t.co/MbBnyDtoo8

RT @JenAshleyWright: Perhaps the Democrats, who currently control everything, should consider doing literally anything.

I'll probably be saying this a lot over the next year, but this vaccines are really effective at keeping you from getting seriously ill if you get sick at all. Lockdowns and mask mandates made sense when we had no vaccines. They don't anymore. https://t.co/Va4JNt4yR8

@ahunt4congress I may have been offered money to stop dancing. On the other hand, how many people can say they performed a tango at their wedding, complete with red rose in the bride's teeth? Not many.

@elevenstars @ReadeAlexandra @KadriLiik @ElenaChernenko If I felt that way before I ran for office, is it still pandering or does it just mean I stand behind my beliefs?

@davidsirota When you frame it as what Democrats must do, you are framing the question incorrectly. Are you right to not have faith in Republicans to do what's right for the working class? Yes you are. But you have no reason to think the Democrats are any more likely to do it either.

@TGreg72 @abetterworld98 Nobody can change your platform other than the representative themselves. That said, nobody changes the Democratic Party - the party changes them. I'm not looking to change the Republican Party. I want to change the country.

@GregLentzCA12
@TGreg72 @abetterworld98 A lot of propaganda from both the parties (including from the Democrats making bogus claims about how well the ACA is working) needs to be overcome in order to get people in enough parts of the country to vote out representatives who don't support universal health care.

@WalkerBragman @AdyBarkan But he says she's the most effective speaker of the House in 60 years?
