I joined @GOPLeader, @RepSteel, @RepYoungKim, @RepValadao and others last week to demand answers in response to confirmation that @CA_EDD has paid out over $11b in fraudulent unemployment claims. This level of mismanagement of taxpayer dollars is completely unacceptable. https://t.co/8exyfBaS5k

I appreciate @PresElectBiden’s efforts to help our nation recover, but there are a lot of changes to make before this plan will work for #CA08 and the country.

Furthermore, his plan will raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour across our country – this policy hasn’t worked in #CA where businesses of all sizes are fleeing the state for greener pastures with lower costs of living and more reasonable business regulations.

I appreciate @PresElectBiden’s efforts to help our nation recover. However, many changes must be made before this plan will work for #CA08 and our country.

Furthermore, this plan will raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour across our country even though most economists agree doing so would reduce access to entry-level jobs and diminish economic mobility.

It also concentrates dollars to state and local governments when many states have demonstrated irresponsibility in spending previous funding. For example @CA_ED sent checks to convicts both in and out of state while legitimate requests were stuck waiting in line.
