@March_for_Life Adoption is a wonderful thing. As someone who was adopted as a baby, I’m so thankful for everyone who chooses this path. My biological mom was willing to have me, and my adopted mom was willing to bring me into her home. Both of these women made hard, but praiseworthy decisions.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Idaho’s politicians actually cared about represented the citizens of our state, more than they cared about obeying their party? There shouldn’t be a debate here. Serving Idahoans must always be prioritized over party; every time.

@Sharp208 I think this vote was motivated by party compliance; like many are. My guess, many Democrats weren’t concerned with a retired military officer running the DOD in 2017, but they voted against Mattis b/c he was nominated by a Republican. I do think Austin is a good SECDEF choice.
