"Karen Bass will stand up to the NRA, the gun lobby, and Republican politicians who believe any 18 year-old should be able to buy weapons of war. Los Angeles deserves a mayor who takes gun safety seriously. That’s why I’m endorsing her today.” - CA Attorney General @RobBonta https://t.co/pmDYc9fxxL

This disease is a crisis for all of Los Angeles, not just the LGBTQ+ community. If COVID-19 taught us anything, it’s that we need to make vaccine access a priority and protect marginalized communities. https://t.co/ivzTUoFBbR
The momentum we've seen since the primary is unprecedented. I am building a coalition so we can marshal the resources we need to successfully address homelessness and crime as well as making this city more affordable for all. Join us: https://t.co/536QOyOzG3 https://t.co/jl2Iydtfp1
Developing reports about this shooting are increasingly alarming. There needs to be a full and transparent investigation into what happened on Monday in the Leimert Park neighborhood. https://t.co/nEuPHXDPkb
It was an absolute honor today to receive the endorsement of @chirlafund today. This solidarity is nothing new. I’ve worked with CHIRLA since it's founding. Whether your family has lived in our city for 100 years or one month, I will fight for you, just like I always have. https://t.co/Z1tIZFvvAx
Please read my campaign's statement on public safety in our city issued this morning. https://t.co/1J74DYTL5A
Infrastructure means JOBS. Thanks again to Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg for visiting Los Angeles this week to see firsthand the impact we’re having in our communities. https://t.co/s93mfMoq8D

I saw an article over the weekend wondering if people were even going to notice the Supreme Court decisions released last week. Tonight I was joined by more than 15,000 people on my telephone town hall with @RepRaskin. I think that answers the question.
When I worked at Community Coalition in South LA, I worked with young people who didn't know they were undocumented until they applied for college. I’ve seen the pain a winding path to citizenship can cause for a family and a community. This is a personal fight for me. 2/
Today we celebrate the resilience of #Dreamers and recognize the contributions of millions of undocumented immigrants to this country, but we also must recommit to passing permanent solutions for our millions of undocumented neighbors who call the United States home.
10 years ago today, President Obama announced the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Program, allowing Dreamers to study, work and live in the only country many of them have ever known as home.
We have already passed the #DreamAct in the House to give Dreamers a pathway to citizenship and there are other pieces of legislation like the US Citizenship Act that we must get passed. I will always fight for the immigrant communities in this country. #HomeIsHere
