I am honored to represent all the people of #TX07. And I am proud to celebrate and affirm my transgender constituents and neighbors this #TransDayofVisibility. We’ve had the flag up at our office this week, and our doors are always open to all. https://t.co/wKJz34GI7o

Today marks 100 years since Armistice Day ending World War I, and a day to honor the sacrifice, bravery, and dedication of the men and women who have served in our nation's armed forces. We are grateful for you, on this #VeteransDay and every day. https://t.co/1qfva3ljh3
Due to technical issues, Harris County has been ordered to keep polling locations open until 8:00PM. Two of them are in #TX07: Metcalf Elementary (Precinct 0882) and Lone Star College Cypress Center (Precincts 0305 and 0951). https://t.co/NBo3Zv4dz5
We know a thing or two about hurricanes — and the importance of working together to recover. Scott and I were proud to donate items today for @sylvesterturner's Florence relief effort. Join us by donating tomorrow at the GRB before the trucks roll out: https://t.co/FdPVEashsD https://t.co/geSzW7MpSi
Honored the pioneering Sarah Weddington is charter member of #TeamLizzie. Thrilled to see her support here. Reminded how much is at stake right now, and how much each of us can do to effect change. Read to the end + get fired up for the weeks ahead. #TX07 https://t.co/XaNvbmXHJK
Once again, Trump creates a problem and then claims he is fixing it. I’m all for fiscal responsibility. This is not an example of it. Nor is a tax cut creating a $2.3 trillion deficit. #GOPTaxScam https://t.co/FCBGgaRvn1 https://t.co/CsjVqXGhd4
I am proud to say that this past weekend, Harris County took a step to combat impacts of future events like Hurricane Harvey from happening by voting to approve a 2.5 million dollar bond referendum that will help fund crucial flood mitigation projects throughout our community.
$2.5 billion is an essential start for mitigating future floods, providing needed resources and proving again that our community is united in our resolve -- just as we were a year ago. Be sure to VOTE tomorrow. #TX07 #HoustonStrong #HoustonProud https://t.co/wxoY2wNHDj https://t.co/mOTtmxpJTP
#TX07 needs a fighter for our infrastructure—especially flood mitigation + public transit expansion—and advocate in Congress. I will act—not simply react when disaster strikes—to create a comprehensive flooding plan with other leaders. My priorities: https://t.co/JXTfHypkrl https://t.co/Icpc9lWlAr
This kid's ready for the big leagues! Our @Astros keep us #HoustonProud. QT @abc13houston: CUTE VIDEO: Toddler imitates Astros players' batting stance https://t.co/z0YBQ5x3pd https://t.co/MSyaQqkejA)
The #EPA's recent rollback of protections for first responders, workers, and communities that border chemical & industrial plants following disasters reflects the very opposite of what we need to do for our community’s health and safety. #ElectionsMatter https://t.co/WHEO9qLFUF https://t.co/zI8HmYwlki
The news today of Justice Kennedy's retirement underscores the importance of taking back the House & making sure that Congress fulfills its duty to serve as a check on the Executive Branch. We must win this election. Help by giving now: https://t.co/D
Thank you, @NAACPHOU, for including me for tonight's NAACP Quarterly Conversation Series. I enjoyed hearing from your panel and members, and seeing such great friends. #TX07 https://t.co/zyg8e1fRvl
