Today my colleagues and I met with the Armenian Ambassador to the U.S. @LilitMakunts, to discuss U.S.-Armenian relations, including the importance of the U.S. recognizing the Armenian Genocide. I'm eager to work together as we address issues important to Armenian-Americans.
It's simple—Trump and his lawyers new he had lost the election. Instead of conceding, they chose to lie, mislead the public and incite an insurrection. https://t.co/w9s95htzZY
I am ready and eager to take on this task and serve the amazing people of Illinois' 5th district—both new and old.
Change isn’t always easy, and I’ve loved every day getting to know my current constituents, but I'm looking forward to meeting new people and experiencing new places throughout the Chicagoland area.
I'm pleased to see the IL state assembly has passed the new congressional maps. It’s been my great honor to represent Illinois’ 5th district for the past 9 years, and for the next year, I will continue to to provide critical services to the constituents of the current 5th.

I helped secure $1.3 million for a grade separation of the West Grand Ave. Highway and the Metra rail tracks in the Village of Elmwood Park. This weekend I got to see exactly where this project will have an impact. I can’t wait to visit it one day when it’s complete!
In 2021, there's no excuse for not having agency reports easily accessible on the internet. The House just passed my bill with @RepJamesComer to make sure Congressionally mandated reports are all available on a single website for the public. Learn more:https://t.co/sgmcyFvjYT
