Seaman First Class Richard Cohen served in the US Navy as Communications Liaison during WWII. Stationed on the USS Robert Eden off the coast of Omaha Beach in France, he provided critical supplies to troops during the invasion of Normandy. https://t.co/dl1BnkJqzH
Technical Sergeant Donald Cohen joined the U.S. Army as part of the 97th Infantry. Serving in this specialized company, he was involved in battles in Central Burma, China, and India. Specialist Rose Hyman, a Buffalo native, served in the U.S. Army from 1985-1989. After honorably discharging, she continued to serve her country. US Army SSG Richard Reisch deployed to Vietnam in 1970 & fought in combat until 1971. He was then stationed at Ft. Bragg & Fort Monmouth as Signal School Instructor before transferring to Berlin.
