According to @AmericanCancer, African Americans disproportionately have the highest mortality rates and suffer more barriers to cancer prevention, identification, and treatment compared to any other racial group. https://t.co/yRiXrT8GpB
@oncologynursing and @FDConcolocgy have committed to breaking down those barriers by designating June 16–22 as National Black Family Cancer Awareness Week to increase access to treatment and resources. Let's work together to close these disparities. @preventcancer

Fighting inflation and lowering costs for America's working families is one of my top priorities. Let's get this done for families across the country. #LowerFoodAndFuelCostsAct
The national average for gas in January was $3.28 per gallon. By June, the price rose by $1.69. Today, the House will vote on a comprehensive package to lower prices at the pump and grocery store by providing farmers the necessary resources to help the country thrive.
The bill will: ✅Decrease grocery store prices by lowering fertilizer costs in the field ✅Lower meat and poultry prices by increasing meatpacking competition and capacity ✅Lower gas prices by producing more available, cheaper, & cleaner unleaded ✅Improve the food supply chain
I wrote more about the importance of #pride in the Keystone. You can read it here! 2/2

The @USArmy was created on this day 247 years ago I'm grateful to the brave service members and veterans in our district who have proudly worn the Army's uniform. I keep coming back to the idea of getting that unimaginable phone call. My heart is with those parents in Texas and all parents who have lost their child to gun violence.
One party is passing common sense gun laws to keep our kids alive. The other is passing hateful laws to target LBGTQ children. Which is the party that truly cares about our children?
As a mom, news that the FDA and a key baby formula manufacturer have reached a deal to resume production is more than welcome. But we need to address this crisis in the short and long-term. Yesterday, I spoke with @bloombergtv about how we do just that: https://t.co/EGLKrzkhD9
