This bridge connects Cerritos, La Palma, Lakewood, and Cypress, as well as Los Angeles & Orange Counties. It was constructed in 1965 & is rated “structurally deficient." The current four-lane merge creates a choke point, putting drivers, bikers, pedestrians, & others in danger.
Today I'm voting for the #INVESTAct, a bill that will make historic investments rebuilding our roads and bridges & reducing emissions. And I'm proud to report it includes $18 million to replace the Del Amo Boulevard Bridge – a critically important project in our neighborhood.
