Pleased to hear the first circuit court of appeals vacated the air quality permits for the Weymouth Compressor Station. Congratulations @FRRACS_MA activists for your persistent & hard-fought efforts that led to this decision. We will continue to be with you throughout the fight.
Wishing all the Moms a very happy #MothersDay today! https://t.co/EjCM5d6DAR
Research universities play a critical role in understanding pandemics and discovering ways to prevent, identify and treat life-threatening illnesses such as #Covid19 and we must provide relief for the workforce that sustains our research industry in the next stimulus package.
As Congress continues to work on a #CARESAct 2, it is important we include funding for scientific and medical researchers that work out of university-based laboratories that have been shut down due to the #coronavirus crisis.
After President Trump removed Acting Pentagon Inspector General Glenn Fine, who was tasked with safe-guarding $2 Trillion dollars provided in the CARES Act, I have taken action to restore Mr. Fine’s eligibility as pandemic committee chair. https://t.co/M1uFbXrGe3
Mr. Fine was first chosen with bipartisan support in Congress to guarantee COVID-19 funding was properly handled and this bill will help strengthen IG oversight to ensure this critical taxpayer money is not abused or mismanaged. https://t.co/M1uFbXrGe3

(1/2) Due to the extreme conditions of this COVID-19 pandemic, a “Stop Movement” order has been issued to many of our active military families and @DeptofDefense civilians which halts all scheduled travel.
This evening at 6:30pm I will be hosting a telephone town hall about COVID-19 with Dr. Gabriela M. Andujar Vazquez, M.D., an infectious diseases control specialist from Tufts Medical Center. You can live stream the event here: https://t.co/6SeFRTWfga
(2/2) - I discussed briefing with Senator Timilty, the FAA and MassPort regarding the recent incident of falling debris from a Delta Airlines flight over Milton and a summary of recently-passed legislation by the U.S. House. https://t.co/mYhSouU4Vb
(1/2) Despite the weather, good turnout at Milton Special Town Meeting last night. Thanks to Moderator Robert Hiss for allowing me to give an update - https://t.co/CXkvPRJUJu

Very pleased to see the “Never Forget the Heroes: James Zadroga, Ray Pfeifer & Luis Alvarez Permanent Authorization of 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund Act” finally signed into law this morning. #911VCF
The #911VictimsCompensationFund permanently reauthorizes the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund which will ensure that every American suffering from an injury or illness related to 9/11 will receive the proper health care and compensation they deserve.
I am pleased to report that last week, the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) transferred the remains of more than 20 service members killed during the Battle of Tarawa in WWII back to the U.S. @dodpaa
I will be live streaming the PHMSA Listening Session regarding the Weymouth Compressor Station on my Facebook page tonight from 6-8PM. Tune in here: https://t.co/iIPlN6Ihcz
