I was saddened to hear today of the passing of former Governor of Virginia, Gerald Baliles. Gov. Baliles fought hard for transportation and environmental initiatives that have benefited VA for the decades that followed his tenure.
There are over 19 million veterans in the U.S. #VeteranTreatmentCourtCoordinationAct will help state and local governments set up their own vet courts so none of our veterans get left behind.

Today, Democratic Leadership brought the SHIELD Act up for a vote. This bill, which passed with almost exclusively Dem support, does not protect the American people or our elections. It only serves to federalize the election process.
