This is devastating news. Children shouldn’t fear for their lives leaving their schools or sports practices. My heart goes out to the Roxborough High School community. Fetterman’s reluctance to appear in public, even in Dem friendly Philly is revealing. https://t.co/bAuuqccfUU

Green corporate welfare is so unpopular in pa Granholm had to beg crowd to clap. Remember: Fetterman wants to go even further. He called nat gas, which has employed thousands of Pennsylvanians, reduced carbon emissions dramatically, & lowed energy costs, a “stain” on our state. I think the Fed has learned its lesson: loose monetary policy hurts every day Americans. But when will Democrats in Congress and the Biden administration realize their excessive government spending is making things a lot worse?
While the Fed is finally taking action to normalize monetary policy, the Biden administration and Democrats in Congress are undercutting their efforts with their massive spending and student debt “cancellation.”
The “consensus” was wrong. Today’s inflation report shows what American families knew to be true: prices are still rising. Americans are paying significantly more for essentials than they were one year ago: - 13.5% more for groceries - 6.2% more in rent - 23.8% more for energy
Schumer promised amendment votes before reneging on that promise. Senator Tester is working in good faith to get this resolved. Let’s vote this week and find out where the majority of the Senate stands.
Former-Japanese Prime Minister Abe was an admirable statesman who’s leadership strengthened not only his own country but also global security and stability. His assassination is appalling and shocking. My thoughts are with his family and his country as they mourn.
Their blanket rejection of numerous Bitcoin spot ETFs—despite the SEC’s prior approvals of Bitcoin futures ETFs—demonstrates how this SEC has arbitrarily choosen to deny investors access to financial products.
An outrageous misuse of authority. After gas, solar panels, and baby food, Congress should rename the Defense Production Act the Domestic Politics Act. https://t.co/GZOLHr1lk0

Potential solutions on the table include expanding background checks to include all commercial sales, making it a specific federal offense to engage in gun trafficking, improving security, encouraging mental health, & incentivizing state enactment of red flag laws.
I'm cautiously optimistic Congress can enact commonsense measures that make it less likely for criminals and the dangerously mentally to get firearms while protecting the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens. https://t.co/rfkGlZ0pZr
I rarely agree with @paulkrugman, but he's exactly right here: Russia shows why trade surpluses do not equal greater prosperity. The purpose of production is consumption—that applies to trade as well. We export in order to import—lots of both elevate our standard of living. I rarely agree w/@paulkrugman, but he's exactly right here: Russia shows why trade deficits don’t matter. The creation of a higher stndrd of living through the voluntary exchange of goods & services – only achieved when we actually import goods – is ultimately the point of trade.
