That *does not* appear to be a wolf. I sincerely hope I’m wrong - and in that interest I’ve blocked off identifying info from this image. But the facial markings on that animal are not wolf-like whatsoever.

I’m not enough of a coward to hunt wolves in the first place - and all of us should be embarrassed that wolf hunting has become some sort of Montana culture war marker for the angry cosplay cowboy Fox News crowd. Hunting for food is one thing. Hunting for sport is another.

Locals are saying Montana FWP has been notified. And that a Siberian Husky and pups were seen recently abandoned in the forest nearby. Jesus.
