This bill is popular because it funds vaccines, cash payments, unemployment, small business, the child tax credit, the biggest investment in native communities in American history, schools, firehouses, and rent. So, I guess Dr. Seuss and also maybe caravans.
This illegal deforestation accounts for a big chunk of carbon emissions and accelerates climate change. Plus 1.5 billion people depend on healthy rainforests to support their families and make a living.

Trump is a danger to democracy itself. I took an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. We must both initiate impeachment proceedings in the House and invoke the 25th Amednment. Our vigilance must increase, not wane, in the final days.

Lots of legit reasons to criticize this bill and the process, but FYI Covid relief was combined with overall government spending bill, so the reason there’s non Covid stuff is because we combined relief bill w the bill to keep government open. (Might delete if my mentions go bad)
