I saw my first person shot at 8. My family was homeless at one point — we lived in the back of a van in a parking lot. We went months without power and barely had enough for eat. It wasn’t b/c my parents were lazy — they both worked — it was b/c our system is rigged for the 1%

Isaiah 6:8 “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Democracy can not exist in a vacuum. We ALL must get engaged. We ALL must be involved. We ALL must rise up, stiffen our spines, strengthen our resolve and say with one collect voice — that this government— OUR government — must be returned to is rightful owners... THE PEOPLE!

The entire Democratic field is saying “No, we can’t” when it comes to ensuring that everyone has healthcare — ensuring ppl do go broke b/c the get sick— ensuring ppl don’t die from greed. Only one candidate is saying YES, WE CAN.. that’s @BernieSanders. The choice is clear.

When the architects of our Republic write the magnificent words of the Constitution & Declaration of Independence... they wrote them with me not in mind. Without women, trans ppl, indigenous communities, the disabled, and so many others. We need a #21CenturyBillofRights for all!
