Getting elected to Congress in my view, isn’t about doing the best job, this isn’t a partner in a CPA firm. It is about who will fight for your fundamental rights, who will vote on legislation that benefits the people, who will fight for commonsense gun reform, the climate, etc.

As a lifelong Democrat, I support Judge Patel for the Michigan Court of Appeals. Her office is non partisan, but I can speak as a Democrat. Her opponent is a far right radical MAGA Judge, endorsed by those close to Donald Trump.

My son's mother is a Republican, further right than I thought, when we met. A Judge in Oakland County should have no contact with my son's mother in Macomb, especially running against Judge Patel. Does anyone understand the power a Circuit Court Judge possesses? They can remove your child, they can hold you in contempt, they can make phone calls and ruin lives. A non powerful person has to do whatever a Circuit Court Judge says in our society. I want judicial oversight.
