I was told if I support @GovWhitmer, @dananessel, and @JocelynBenson I could lose my current employment. What is going on? Why would anyone say that to me?

I love helping low income individuals receive quality legal advice. It is a poverty law clinic, no idea why anyone would say if I support the Governor, I could lose my employment. My place of employment didn't tell me that. I was told a Republican Judge would call them if I kept supporting the Governor indirectly. I am a lifelong Democrat. I hope none of this is true. The only way I could refile for Congress, is if I left my current place of employment. I would need to know my support is strong from within my party, and the lines are not currently drawn. It is up to my Political Party if I ever refile, I leave the decision in their hands.

My salary is based on Federal funding that precludes any staff attorneys running for partisan office. An exception would have to be made at the highest levels of the Federal Government for me to refile, and stay employed. It is ok if some don't think I am ready.

I am not quiting my job, someone at the highest levels would have to contact my CEO, and say we want to make an exception.
