Jan 18, 2012 Interviewed by the Lincoln Journal Star
The Journal Star reports: "Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., and Rep. Adrian Smith, R-Neb., both expressed the need to curb piracy, but they didn't take a stance on the legislation."
Nov 18, 2011 Letter to constituent
"As you know, this bill would allow for the Attorney General or an intellectual property owner harmed by any website dedicated to infringing on such intellectual property to bring actions against the owner of the website or the registrant for the site's domain name in an effort to curtail U.S. entities supporting or directing internet traffic to websites believed to be in violation of copyright law. S. 968 has been advanced by the Senate Judiciary Committee and is now waiting to be scheduled for debate by the full Senate. Rest assured, I will keep your thoughts in mind as this legislation moves forward."
