Daisy C. Letendre is Senior Advisor for Policy and Strategic Communications in the Office of Policy at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). She is also serving as the lead for EPA’s Smart Sectors Program. Daisy joined EPA in 2017 after working in the Senate for nearly three years. She worked as Communications Director for Sen. Jim Inhofe, the senior member of both the Senate Armed Services Committee and the Senate Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee. Prior to her time in Sen. Inhofe’s office, Daisy held a variety of roles with the Senate EPW Committee before becoming Press Secretary. While at EPW, she worked on a number of key environmental and infrastructure bills including the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act, the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act, and the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act. In addition to her work in Washington, DC Daisy serves as a Fellow for the Churchill Institute. As a former collegiate swimmer, Daisy is an avid runner and triathlete, and she coaches masters swimming for the DC Triathlon Club.
