Bio, via Hudson Institute:
Before joining Hudson, Anderson co-founded the 2017 Project, a policy organization focusing on healthcare and tax reform. Anderson’s healthcare reform proposal has formed the basis for the alternatives championed by Ed Gillespie in the Virginia Senate race, former House Budget Committee Chairman and current Secretary of HHS Tom Price, and Scott Walker in the presidential campaign. Before joining Hudson, Anderson co-founded the 2017 Project, a policy organization focusing on healthcare and tax reform. Anderson’s healthcare reform proposal has formed the basis for the alternatives championed by Ed Gillespie in the Virginia Senate race, former House Budget Committee Chairman and current Secretary of HHS Tom Price, and Scott Walker in the presidential campaign. From 2008-09, Anderson was the Senior Speechwriter for Secretary Mike Leavitt at the United States Department of Health and Human Services. From 2001-07, he taught Political Science at the U.S. Air Force Academy, receiving high honors as a professor of American government and political philosophy. In 2001, Anderson received a Ph.D. in Political Science from Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, California.
