Prior to joining the Trump campaign, Taylor served as a Federal Emergency Response Official with the Department of Homeland Security. Since the 2001 terrorist attacks, John Taylor has worked with both homeland security and private sector leaders on operational, training, technical, legislative, emerging technology, and research projects related to America’s homeland security and private security operations. Taylor has extensive experience and advanced expertise in the management of homeland security operations, executive protection operations, international missing and murdered persons investigations, consequence management, and the strategic introduction of emerging technologies to government leaders. Taylor has used his trademark strategy, organizational, and project execution skills to provide positive impact in operations supporting the United States Government’s response to the Anthrax Attacks, the War on Terrorism, Hurricane Katrina, and Hurricane Sandy. He has also helped lead some of the world’s most challenging missing person cases, including the Natalee Holloway and Madeleine McCann cases. His background includes military, homeland security or specialized training in the areas of counter-terrorism, bioterrorism, homeland security, intelligence, counter-intelligence, corporate security, executive protection, improvised explosive devices, homicide investigation and interview and interrogation techniques. To advance homeland security projects, Taylor accesses his worldwide network of government officials, corporate leaders, scientists and subject matter experts, including a contact database of over 45,000 homeland security professionals.
